Step 5: Create an Email Notification for Yourself


Step 5 will show you how to create an email notification for your spreadsheet. That way whenever someone fills out the form and submits it, you will be notified immediately via email.


    A. Go back to your spreadsheet and select Tools > Notification rules...

    


    
    B. Set up your Notification in 3 steps.

  1. Choose the option A user submits a form.
  2. Choose the option Email - right away.
  3. Save.
    

    By setting up your notification this way, when a user fills out your form, the notification will send you an email right away. If you have more than one person accessing the spreadsheet, each of them need to set up their own notification.
